Who We Are
My name is Akber Khan and I am an Engineer by profession. My story started a few years ago when I was helping my parents flip their property into an investment property. My parents were forced to move out of our family home back to Toronto; a decision that was made not by choice but out of helplessness. During this time, I felt like if I didn’t react fast enough then we would be forced to sell our family home and I knew this would have crushed my parents’ dream of ever owning a house. So, I began educating myself in order to set up my parents home into a investment property.
Over the last few years, I have not only helped my parents renovate their home, but also guided them through investments that have allowed them to also find amazing, reliable tenants. I was also able to work with general contractors to renovate their basement, add in a side entrance and rent out their basement as well. Over the last few years, I found a passion for the real estate world and began helping my extended family, friends, coworkers and neighbors renovate their properties, enter the housing market or expand their investment portfolios. Now, I want to take all the knowledge I’ve gained and help you. I know that real estate is not cut and dry – what worked for me, might not work for you.
